Tesla owners using Teslemetry gain a local route for commands from Home Assistant. Optional Bluetooth pairing sends commands directly to a nearby car, keeping control possible when the car’s mobile connection or the cloud is unreachable.

Music Assistant gives household administrators a visible way to choose who owns a music source and who may use it. The source settings show ownership and sharing together, and an Access dialog edits them. This supplies the interface for the private-account controls reported yesterday.

Makers gain a way to use an ESPHome board as the USB connection to another device’s serial port. A new bridge supports ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3 and ESP32-P4 boards, carrying data in both directions for console access, sensor logging or programming a device with a serial bootloader.
OHF Voice
Cached models load directly from disk instead of stalling an isolated voice server.
A local voice server with its speech model already downloaded should not need the internet to start. OHF Voice’s Wyoming Faster Whisper server tries its cached models first, avoiding a Hugging Face connection that could stall startup and send an isolated container into a restart loop.
Home Assistant
A new watch control joins a recording fix that stops quiet pauses from sending unfinished requests.
On watchOS 26 and later, Apple Watch owners gain a Control Center shortcut to Home Assistant’s voice assistant, and Apple Watch Ultra owners can also open it with the Action button. The control opens the assistant configured for the watch.
