Music Assistant gives household administrators a visible way to choose who owns a music source and who may use it. The source settings show ownership and sharing together, and an Access dialog edits them. This supplies the interface for the private-account controls reported yesterday.
Marcel van der Veldt also extends ownership to playlists created in Music Assistant. New personal playlists start private and can be shared with chosen members, all members or everyone, with a separate choice to allow shared editing. Existing playlists keep their household access; playlists supplied by a music service follow that service’s sharing.
Personal-playlist controls still need their interface, and members’ source-management pages await role permissions. Squeezebox menus and the server’s AI tools continue to list every playlist because those requests carry no user identity. Administrators also get a clear explanation when a member’s music sources must be reassigned before the account can become a guest.
