Music Assistant
A guided setup connects sources and players, adapting to households that start music from their phone apps.
Music Assistant gives new administrators a guided route from an empty installation to a listening setup. The wizard asks how the household listens, then walks through music sources, players, optional plugins and a summary instead of leaving the administrator at a settings page.
Home Assistant
The iPhone app writes a control-screen link to a contactless tag from its Add to menu.
Home Assistant’s iOS app adds a direct way to put a device or sensor’s control screen on an NFC tag. Choosing NFC Tag from its Add to menu writes the link to a nearby contactless tag; scanning it opens that item’s more-info dialog.
Music Assistant
Members gain permission to connect their own sources, while playlist owners get a dialog for sharing and collaboration.
Music Assistant enables household members to add and manage their own music sources, closing a gap left by the account-sharing controls reported yesterday. Setting up local disk sources stays an administrator’s responsibility because it can read folders on the server.
Home Assistant
Direct reboot and shutdown actions gain a permission check, while independently triggered automations keep working.
