Home Assistant’s iOS app adds a guide for understanding how it connects at home and away. Opened from the server’s connection settings or internal-address screen, it explains the internal and external addresses, shows which is in use and checks which requirements the device already meets.

Taking control of an ESPHome device can fail when its maker spreads the firmware configuration across several files. Device Builder imports those files as a package when a single-file import cannot preserve them, and ESPHome finds supporting assets beside the configuration that names them.

Shuffle and repeat follow the speaker’s active service, including sessions started outside Music Assistant.
Music Assistant gains shuffle and repeat controls for services playing directly on Sonos speakers. A session started in the Sonos app—such as Qobuz, YouTube Music, Apple Music or Amazon Music—can expose its supported controls and current play modes in Music Assistant instead of producing a “nothing playing” error.

A stream-start correction protects 24-bit WAV playback, with a companion fix for rapid track changes.
Squeezelite players connected to Music Assistant could burst into loud static instead of music when receiving 24-bit WAV audio. The correction makes the player wait for its audio format before reading the stream, avoiding discarded bytes that turn samples into noise.
