Music Assistant gains shuffle and repeat controls for services playing directly on Sonos speakers. A session started in the Sonos app—such as Qobuz, YouTube Music, Apple Music or Amazon Music—can expose its supported controls and current play modes in Music Assistant instead of producing a “nothing playing” error.
Marcel van der Veldt extends the earlier support for recognized sources such as Spotify Connect. The speaker supplies the active service’s capabilities, and its temporary entry disappears when playback switches elsewhere or the paused session ends. This controls an existing Sonos session; it does not add the service to Music Assistant’s music library.
