Squeezelite players connected to Music Assistant could burst into loud static instead of music when receiving 24-bit WAV audio. The correction makes the player wait for its audio format before reading the stream, avoiding discarded bytes that turn samples into noise.
The failure could affect WAV output and low-latency live sources such as Spotify Connect. Marcel van der Veldt also corrects a related startup failure during quick track changes: a delayed report from the previous stream no longer prevents the next one from playing.
