Home Assistant requires an administrator for the Synology DSM integration’s reboot and shutdown actions. A non-admin calling either action from a dashboard, developer tools or a manually started script or automation receives an Unauthorized error.
Franck Nijhof adds the check to those two actions. Automations and scripts running on their own triggers remain unaffected because their calls carry no user identity. The integration’s separate button entities are unchanged; the restriction applies to the two named actions.
