An NFC tag opens the Home Assistant control you need

Home Assistant’s iOS app adds a direct way to put a device or sensor’s control screen on an NFC tag. Choosing NFC Tag from its Add to menu writes the link to a nearby contactless tag; scanning it opens that item’s more-info dialog.

Bruno Pantaleão Gonçalves connects the menu to the system’s tag-writing sheet, which guides the write and reports errors. The option appears only on devices with NFC available. The tag opens the control screen rather than running an action itself.
