On watchOS 26 and later, Apple Watch owners gain a Control Center shortcut to Home Assistant’s voice assistant, and Apple Watch Ultra owners can also open it with the Action button. The control opens the assistant configured for the watch.
A companion fix lets the wearer decide when a request is finished. Assist previously stopped recording after three seconds below its silence threshold, sometimes sending an incomplete request even though the screen said to tap to send. Recording instead ends when the wearer taps.
